The Penguins Boys Youth Lacrosse team was founded in 2011 through a partnership with Lacrosse America. In 2012, we branched out on our own with the help of Lacrosse America, the Palatine Park District, Arlington Heights Park District, NWCYLF and other Lacrosse teams.
The goal of the Penguins is to provide an opportunity for all children to experience the sport of lacrosse. Accordingly, we encourage participation by beginning and experienced players alike in all age groups. All players will be played as equally as possible without regard to skill. Addtionally, the Penguins strives to teach the game of lacrosse, help players develop lacrosse skills and teach teamwork and good sportsmanship. The Penguins are open to children in 3rd through 8th grade.
Looking to play in High School, but your school does not have a program, try the Arlington Falcons.
The Penguins Lacrosse program is spring Lacrosse team for boys aged 7 to 15. High school freshmen are not permitted to play at the U15 age level, even if their birth date falls within the accepted range.
Practices are twice a week starting in late March and run through Mid June. Games are played on Saturdays and Sundays starting mid April through Mid June.
Practices will be at Parks in and around Palatine and Arlington Heights. Games will be split between home and away.
Include teams such as Cary Grove, Crystal Lake, Grayslake, Huntley, Barrington, Lake Zurich, Jr. Lions and other Chicagoland teams.
We are a proud member of the Illinois Boys Lacrosse Association (IBLA).
