Concussion Training –

  1. Within the past few years, there has been a heightened focus to examine the prevention, evaluation and impact of concussions to participants in various sports.  The Penguins and the IBLAX are committed to providing the safest environment possible for your child to play lacrosse.
  2. In this effort to provide a safe environment, the parents of each player also must take an active role.
  3. Your child must have a colored mouthpiece, preferably tethered to their helmet, for use in all practices and games.
  4. Additionally, as mandated by the Palatine Park District, one parent of each player and every parent that participates as a coach or helps in practices, must take the CDC Heads Up Concussion Test.
