Welcome to the Penguin's Youth Lacrosse Team website, your source for information to make your lacrosse season a success. 

The website has been designed to assist coaches, parents, players, administrators, and officials find the information they need to stay informed.

If you looking for some Fall Lacrosse, there are a few opportunities which are listed below:

  1. The Penguins will be offering a Clinic through the Palatine Park District.  Please check out their website for additional details.  An additional clinic will be run in Feb 2018.
    1. The Beginner clinic will start 8/29 (No equipment needed)
    2. The Advanced clinic will be starting 9/7 (Equipment needed)
  2. Penguin's Box Lacrosse
    1. Starting in November with a weekly game.
    2. Games are either on Thursday evening or Sunday mornings.

Congratulations to our U11 Lake Geneva Champions.  Check out their picture on our picture page.  

Our U11 team won at the Pipe City tournament as well.  Great Job

2017 Season Notes

  • We had 227 kids.
  • We had 12 teams, with 2 new Mini (1st and 2nd Grade) teams.
  • We played 120 games as a program.
  • We participated in 6 tournaments.
  • We had 12 new coaches.... However we still need more.
  • We were able to host the Minor A and B IBLA playoffs.
  • Our Junior Black team took the championship in the Silver Brackets.

Congratulations to our U11 Rip the Cow Champions.  They went undefeated this past weekend.  Check out their picture on our picture page.

The penguins will be offering camps and clinics over the summer.  Please go to the Palatine Park District website for details.

Grade based divisions (new this year)

  1. Majors – 7th/8th Grade
    1. 10 v 10 and Full length Long sticks allowed
  2. Minors – 5th/6th Grade
    1. 10 v 10 and Full length Long sticks allowed
  3. Juniors - 3rd/4th Grade
    1. 10 v 10 and No Long Poles, Sticks can be between 38 - 42 inches.
  4. Mini's – 1st/2nd Grade
    1. 7 v 7 Game play (2, 2, 2 & Goalie)

U15 Champs at the 2017 Ice Breaker Tournament

Our U15 took 1st place at the 2017 Ice Breaker Tournament over the weekend.  They went 4 - 0 and won 11 - 4 over Team One in the finals.  Check out the picture page to see the champs.
